With the opening of Aura Maldives in 2026, Pulse Hotels & Resorts, the luxury brand behind The Nautilus, Kandima and Nova Maldives, is set to elevate the Maldivian landscape once again.

Aura Maldives is set to redefine conscious luxury when it opens its doors in the heart of Baa Atoll, in late 2026. As the newest flagship from Pulse Hotels & Resorts, this five-star sanctuary moves beyond traditional opulence, focusing instead on the concept of “slow luxury” and deep environmental stewardship.
Aura Maldives Opening. What we Know
Initially scheduled for July 2026, Aura Maldives opening is postponed to the end of 2026.
The resort will feature 71 elegantly designed villas, each crafted with a “nature-first” philosophy.
Expect architecture that blends seamlessly into the tropical landscape, utilizing sustainable materials and eco-friendly technology to minimize its carbon footprint. From plastic-free operations to dark-sky lighting designed to protect local wildlife, Aura aims to coexist with its fragile delicate ecosystem.

Guest experience centers on mindfulness and holistic wellness.
The signature Solasta Spa will serve as the island’s heartbeat, offering transformative treatments like a traditional hammam and a hyperbaric chamber, rare finds in the Maldives.
Whether you’re practicing sunrise yoga or exploring the vibrant coral reefs just offshore, the island is designed to help guests disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with themselves.

Culinary enthusiasts will find plenty to explore across Aura’s diverse dining venues. The resort will host a curated portfolio of flavors, including a sophisticated overwater Asian-fusion restaurant, a beachfront grill, a wood-fired pizzeria, and an innovative nomadic pop-up kitchen that changes with the seasons.
At the center of it all is the Beach Club, a social hub for curated music and sunset cocktails.

Located just a 30-minute seaplane journey from Male, Aura Maldives promises to be a destination for travelers seeking a purposeful escape. It joins a prestigious portfolio alongside Kandima and The Nautilus, signaling a new era of mindful travel in the Indian Ocean.
