Due to South Male’s proximity to Malé, expect crowds from resorts, locals, and safari boats, especially at Kandooma Right and Riptides.

The closest break is accessible directly from Anantara Veli, while others are a short 10–35 minute boat ride away. Anantara Veli is Dhigu’s sister island which is located in the same lagoon.
