Anantara Dhigu Maldives, Dhoni -Kids Club set in a real Maldivian boat

The Resort is family friendly and puts emphasis on health and safety, while offering children the chance to explore the island, engage in arts and crafts activities, play indoor and outdoor sport, and meet other guests their own age.

The Outdoor area has sandy flooring with tree shades, outdoor play units (Swings and wooden games ).
Some of the activities include Treasure Hunt, Painting/Drawing, a TV and films for rainy days, art creation, fish and sting rays feeding and many other fun activities for our kids to enjoy their time too.

Bubble Makers Dive Courses for 8 and 9 years old and Junior Scuba Diving are available at the Diving Center.
Baby sitting is available for additional charge. $15/hour until 10pm, $20/hour from 10pm-12pm and $25/hour from midnight.

Anantara Dhigu Maldives Diving and snorkeling

SNORKELING

The resort does not have a close-by house reef ( this is usually the case for Islands having very wide lagoon as such).
Advanced swimmers and snorkelers will have to swim 15-20 minutes to reach the closest spot.
But if you prefer not to swim, an excursion is organised to bring you to a further spot, located outside the reef at a close range. Please check on the right picture for a better look and understanding of the area:

DIVING

The Anantara Dive Centre AQUAFANATICS offers two boat dives a day to over 20 nearby reefs. In addition, the Centre runs full and half-day “safari dives” to reefs and sites further offshore.
The Center offers beginner’s discovery courses to more advanced Nitrox, deep water and rescue dives and has a range of programs to suit everyone.
Full and Half-Day Diving Safaris are organized in South, North Male and Felidhu Atoll to discover the most exciting spots available in the area.
Before diving : Orientation Dives
All divers at the Anantara Dive Centre require an orientation dive, unless you have logged a dive within the last three months in the Maldives.
The orientation dive consists of a dive on our nearby house reef or another local dive site, with an instructor who will get you to demonstrate basic diving skills. After completion, you’re ready to move on to more advanced dives or courses, depending on your level and certifications.
