Huvafen Fushi Maldives Diving and Snorkeling

SNORKELING

Huvafen Fushi Island is gifted with Coral Walls extending all along the East side.
Beginners will stay inside the House reef, ie: just downstairs the Ocean Pavilion, for best safety, and advanced will try the long walls outside.
PAY ATTENTION : As usual, take a moment to discuss with the Dive Center before going to explore the outside walls! Currents can be dangerous and professional advices are gold.

Snorkeling Program :

- Coral Garden Reef Hopping/Sand Bank Snorkeling Safari : The Maldives is famed for its underwater treasure of vibrant corals, hundreds of schooling fish and reef sharks. Huvafen Fushi's Marine Biologist will introduce you to the marine life you will encounter and guide you to different reefs situated outside of the lagoon, as you watch and learn in amazement about life underwater.

- Manta Experience( in season ) : Enjoy the thrill of snorkeling with the biggest of the rays. Watch these gentle giants moving gracefully trough the water. Mantas are plankton eaters and usually swim in small to medium seize groups. The Resort experienced team will explain you how to snorkel with these magnificent creatures in their natural environment without disturbing them and will be happy to answer your questions.

- Night Snorkeling : Get a chance to observe marine life in our house reef that does not come out at daylight. It is mesmerizing to watch feeding corals while they extending their polyps to catch plankton. Another interesting fact to observe is the way micro marine life glows when excited….get thrilled in the dark!

 

DIVING

Huvafen Fushi is ideally located at a short to medium range from North Male Atoll most beautiful Diving spots.
Diving can be organized on the dive center comfortable fiber glass boats or privately on board of a superb traditional luxury dhoni. Private courses are available for those who wish to have an exclusive and intimate diving experience with their own instructor.

LESSONS:

Multilingual instructors conduct all level of PADI courses, from Discover Scuba Diver up to Dive‐master and a large variety of specialty courses.

For added peace of mind, the DAN Maldives dive insurance is proposed for the duration of the stay (a small contributory fee to DAN Maldives applies).
A Full Dive Valet service is on board for all dives.
All boats are outfitted with :
