What began in 2011 as a simple question shared with Dreaming of Maldives readers has grown into a much-loved annual tradition : which Maldives resort makes you dream the most?
Each year, readers and travelers are invited to choose their own Dreamy Resort from among the islands open at the time of voting.
Resorts do not need to apply or participate. The choices belong entirely to the readers.
This is not a selection of the “best” resorts in an absolute sense. It is a celebration of the places that inspire dreams, create emotion and remain in the imagination. Together, your votes form the TOP 10 Maldives Dreamy Resorts, an original reader-chosen portrait of the best Maldives resorts of the year.
First published in 2012, the TOP 10 has become one of Dreaming of Maldives’ signature editorial series, revealing a new official ranking every year and preserving more than a decade of Maldives dreams.
Since its creation, the TOP 10 Maldives Dreamy Resorts Video Series has gathered more than 3.5 million times on our YouTube channel alone.
