We Care. Your parcel is twice protected. Special care is taken to protect our editions. Wrapped in bubble film and inserted in a hard board envelope, we have given extra care to ensure a better protection and avoid as much as possible damage during transport.



Orders are shipped Monday – Friday, excluding weekends and holidays, within 1-2 business days from the order date. Shipping rate is determined by order weight and location. You may calculate your shipping rate before your order is processed by adding items to your cart.

Dates are suggested cut-off times provided by EMS Postal Service, including one additional day for order processing. Actual delivery-times cannot be guaranteed.

What is the difference between Standard and Registered mail?

Registered shipping provides tracking number for the package while standard shipping has no tracking means in case of problem. So we recommend registered shipping to avoid possible postal problems.

Unlike normal mail, registered article service offers proof of delivery and limited tracking features. For Registered Shipment, together we can check with the postal organisation of the item at its destination if the addressee confirms non–receipt or request for proof of delivery.


Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them.

TRACKING your Parcel with registered post

Once your order has been processed and shipped, we will send you an email containing the tracking number to your registered email. If you do not receive the shipping confirmation email within 1 to 5 business days from your order date, go to the My Account page and click on Orders to get the tracking number for your order.


If you have not yet received your order

This means that you were not available at the time your parcel was out for delivery.
– “Addressee” – this term means you, the recipient.
In cases where the delivery was unsuccessful it is down to you to contact your local postal authority or post office to enquire about your parcel.

You will need your Tracking number to quote the whereabouts of your order.

-Please be sure to check your tracking number provided in your Shipping Confirmation email by both The Shop and Paypal.
Tracking will show you when your package was shipped and transit information.

– If your tracking shows your package was successfully DELIVERED but you have not received it, please confirm the shipping location you provided with your order. Please note it is also not uncommon for Postal Services around the World to occasionally have incorrect tracking notifications.

– If your address is correct and tracking shows your item was delivered but did not arrive, please allow up to 5 additional business days for the package to be delivered.

-If your shipping information was incorrect on your order, your package may be returned to Dreaming of Maldives by EMS. Shipping errors due to incorrect customer information provided by the buyer will be invoiced for additional shipping fees and not refund.

International orders have limited tracking available and cannot be always located by Dreaming of Maldives or EMS after your package has arrived at country of destination.
Please allow up to 30 business days after you have received your shipping notification for delivery. After 30 business days, please contact us here for further assistance.

How to avoid missed delivery due to customer absent
In general, local Post Offices deliver between 9:00 and 18:00. It can be challenging to stay at home for all of these hours, especially on working days.
If you cannot be there at a certain hour, try to see if someone else can be at the delivery address to accept the parcel on your behalf.

If it is really not possible for anyone to be there, you can leave a note on the door for the driver.
You could write a message in which you ask the courier, if possible, to leave it at the backdoor or hand it to the neighbours. It is not guaranteed the driver will follow these instructions but it is worth a shot.
